Il punto intermedio tra Berlino e Bergamo è Berching, il luogo stabilito per l’incontro tra Marta Lodola e Valerio Ambiveri, il 6 maggio 2020, alle ore 18.00.

Oltre ad essere la terza città ‘B’, Berching è il luogo di nascita di Christoph Willibald Gluck, una casualità col sapore della predestinazione: l’incontro tra i due artisti avviene nel luogo di Gluck e della messa in musica dell’incontro tra Orfeo e Euridice del 1762.

Il 6 maggio 2020 è il culmine del periodo di sopportazione del ‘lockdown’ imposto dall’emergenza pandemica da covid-19, in cui il distanziamento sociale comincia ad essere percepito come necessaria disumanità.

“Non-humane distance” è la performance dell’incontro non umano tra i due artisti, messa in rete nei giorni di riapertura delle frontiere, quando si ristabilisce la possibilità di colmare la distanza con incontri nuovamente umani, a sancire che solo i corpi hanno questo potere.
